The safety and well-being of children at the American International Church is a top priority. To ensure safety, we have a registration process for every child who participates in children’s ministries programs, which is completed annually by parents. Additionally, each teacher submits to a background check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and two adults are always present in any classroom with children.
Please see the AIC Child Safeguarding Policy, available on request.
Here’s how it works for parents on a typical Sunday morning:
When you arrive on Sundays, there will be a table where you can sign in your children, and each child will be given a nametag.
The whole family will head into church, and children will be dismissed to their classes, during the early portion of the worship service.
When you pick up your children afterwards, you’ll be asked to sign them out.
This safeguard measure is designed to protect our kids, our teachers, and to give parents peace of mind.
If you have questions about security or children’s ministry, please contact Rev. Stephanie Kremmel, in the church office, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
